Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: September 10, 2026

Auréa House is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every guest should be able to explore our space, learn about our studios and events, and make a booking without barriers.

Our Standard

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely accepted standard for web accessibility. This is an ongoing effort rather than a claim of full or certified compliance, and we continue to review and improve the site as we identify areas for growth.

Measures We've Taken

Some of the accessibility features currently built into theaureahouse.com include:

  • A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users, allowing navigation menus to be bypassed.
  • Keyboard-accessible dialogs and pop-ups with proper focus management, so focus moves into and out of a dialog correctly and the Escape key closes it.
  • Descriptive labels on form fields, including fields where the label is visually hidden but still available to screen readers.
  • Meaningful alternative text on informative images, and decorative images marked so they are skipped by screen readers.
  • Sufficient color contrast and legible typography throughout the site.
  • A responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes, browser zoom levels, and devices.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we add new features, studios, and content to the site, we test them for keyboard access, screen reader compatibility, and visual clarity, and we address issues as they're found.

If you encounter any barrier while using our website, or need assistance accessing any content, service, or feature, please let us know. We take reports seriously and will work to address them promptly.
